The Last Post

Made it back to Houston around 1pm today. The GPS readout pretty well summarizes the story. However the stopped times are off because we shut the unit down at night.



We (well I really) wanted to wash the coach from the time we left Wyoming, but we kept running thru rain and by the time we got far enough south to avoid it all, it was about as easy to bring it on to the hanger and wash it. So if anyone is looking for some Tom Sawyer type fun this Saturday, X-20 is the hanger number.



The biggest road casuality was the rock dent that turned into a 6" crack. Both of the front windshields were brand new when we started, so it will not be fun replacing another one @ $500 a pop.



Then this fog light was shattered sometime yesterday.



I think the consensus was that the helicopter ride at Glacier was the highlight of the trip followed by the bike riding in Yellowstone. Mom, Dad, Carrie and Jill are finishing up today at the Rocky Mountain NP and will be headed for Oklahoma tomorrow.
